I use my agenda everyday to get organized.
From using my agenda daily, I find myself doing better in school which has always been important to me. It helps me know what I need to accomplish and helps me achieve my goals.

I use online sites that let me communicate with others such as skype and oovoo for projects like my family tree.
I used skype to get my information from relatives for my family tree project.


Communication Process

When I present historical speech's in social studies in front of my whole class.
From presenting, I have learned how to present information to a large group of people without getting nervous.
I will practice my speech so I can make more eye contact and speak more fluently.

I have worked in groups doing projects in social studies and had to collaborate with my other partners.
From collaborating with my class mates during group projects, I have become well able to work in a group of people and listen to others ideas and thoughts about the project.

When Im at school, I use the library for necessary materials to find information in the computers and books that can help me with projects and homework.
It helps me prepare for high school and college by teaching me how to get the best resources. By assessing my work I am learning which method works best for me and what I need to improve on.

Skills Resume

Produce a Skills Resume by reflecting on your own skills/experiences and develop the habit of constructing and maintaining a resume.




Self-Reflective Video

Produce a mid-year Self-Reflective Video that summarizes what you have accomplished so far and helps to set goals for the remainder of the year.
Students will revisit this video in an end-of-year reflection.
